The winery was founded in 1868 by Antonio Carpené in the town of Conegliano. In 1878, he introduced the method of making sparkling wines in the Treviso region. Carpené Malvolti was the first winery to use the term "Prosecco di Conegliano" on the label of its sparkling wines in 1924. The winery is still owned by the Carpené family. The color is pale yellow with a greenish undertone. The aroma is fruity, aromatic and fresh, you can feel apples, light stone fruits and white currants. The finish is brightened by citrus minerality with fresh green herbs. The palate is refreshingly fruity and light with a minerally punchy citrus finish. Feel bright stone fruits, green apples, pears, nectarines and yellow plums, along with aromatic herbs. The aftertaste is vividly fruity and long, with a citrusy mineral refreshing aftertaste. The grapes are picked from the vineyards located around the villages of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, 200-300m above sea level. The second fermentation and autolysis of the wine takes place using the "Charmat" method in stainless steel barrels, and the wine is not aged in oak barrels.
