
The winery was founded in 1868 by Antonio Carpené in the town of Conegliano. In 1878, he introduced the method of making sparkling wines in the Treviso region. Carpené Malvolti was the first winery to use the term "Prosecco di Conegliano" on the label of its sparkling wines in 1924. The winery is still owned by the Carpené family. The color is pale yellow with a greenish undertone. The aroma is fruity and aromatic, you can feel ripe yellow apples and light stone fruits. Ripe citrus fruits and a slight mineral-aromatic herbal note are added to the end of the aroma. The taste is vividly fruity, with a light citrus-acidic finish. Feel bright stone fruits, apples, pears, nectarines and yellow plums, with light aromatic herbs. The aftertaste is fruity long and citrus-minerally refreshing. The grapes are picked from vineyards in the provinces of Treviso, Gorizia, Udine, Padua and Pordenone in Veneto, the second fermentation and autolysis of the wine takes place using the "Charmat" method in stainless steel barrels and the wine is not aged in oak barrels.
