The winery was founded in 1868 by Antonio Carpené in the town of Conegliano. In 1878, he introduced the method of making sparkling wines in the Treviso region. Carpené Malvolti was the first winery to use the term "Prosecco di Conegliano" on the label of its sparkling wines in 1924. The winery is still owned by the Carpené family. The color is pale yellow with a greenish undertone. The aroma is fruity, aromatic and fresh, you can feel apples, light stone fruits and white currants. The finish is brightened by citrus minerality with fresh green herbs. The palate is minerally fruity and light with a minerally pungent citrus finish. Feel light stone fruits, apple skin, pears, nectarines and peaches, along with aromatic herbs. The aftertaste is vividly fruity and long, with a citrusy mineral refreshing finish. The grapes are picked from the vineyards with clay-sandstone soil located at an altitude of 200-300m above the sea level around the villages of Conegliano and Valdobbiadene. The second fermentation and autolysis of the wine takes place using the "Charmat" method in stainless steel barrels, and the wine is not aged in oak barrels.
