The aroma is lushly berry, with notes of overripe dark wild berries, ripe strawberries-raspberries and dark chocolate, dark stone fruits, cinnamon, cocoa and sweet spices. The taste is sweet and elegantly berry. Feel black ripe wild berries, wild berry jam, blueberries and dried dark stone fruits. The aftertaste is long, spicy berry with a bit of bitter chocolate. The grapes grow in the Douro Superior region on the upper reaches of the Douro River, the wine develops in 640L oak barrels in Oporto, Villa Nova de Gaia and is blended from wines with an average of 3 years of barrel development.
