Port Barons Barros was founded in Portugal in 1913 by Manuel de Almeida and has become one of the most important producers of port wines in Portugal. Barros produces a very wide range of high-quality port wines. Colheitas are very rare and make up less than 1% of all port wine production. Colheita is a very high quality Tawny. Produced from grapes of only one vintage and has spent at least 7 years in oak barrels. The grapes are picked only at the best time to get the best color, tannins and aroma. Port wine with a light orange hue and a hint of green, with an aroma of strawberries and rose syrup. In the taste you can feel spices and the bitterness of grapefruit peel.
