Late Bottled Vintage (also known as LBV) is a style of port wine produced from a single vintage. LBV differs from Vintage Port in that it is usually produced every year, not just in exceptionally good years. Touriga Franca, Tinta Roriz, Tinta Barroca, Tinta Cão, Touriga Nacional berry varieties are used in the port wine mixture. Kopke LBV 2018 is a deep and bright ruby red wine. The aroma has wild berries, violets and black pepper. Raspberry, blackberry and apricot notes come to the fore. The wine is soft and has a long aftertaste.
