The history of Zenato begins in 1960, when Sergio Zenato started winemaking in the village of San Benedetto di Lugana, on the southern shore of Lake Garda. Over time, Zenato's activities expanded to the Valpolicella area, where the Costalunga estate in the Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella area was acquired. Today, Sergio's children, Alberto and Nadia, run the winery, having expanded the berry plantations to 95 hectares, including 4ha in Tuscany, in the Bolgheri region, and exporting wine to 65 countries. The aroma is medium intensity and fruity lively. You can feel some white flowers, ripe apples, yellow plums and fresh citrus fruits. The taste is dry and light. Feel fresh light stone fruits, yellow apples and pears with fresh citrus fruits. The aftertaste is medium length, citrusy lively and fruity. The berries are picked from different vineyards in the Soave Classico region, the wine ferments in stainless steel barrels and does not develop in oak barrels.
