The Vaziani Marani winery was established in 1982 and modernized in 2012 (new and modern technology, stainless steel barrels). Winemaking and production complies with the ISO22000-2015 certificate. Vaziani Marani makes wines based on modern technology and also according to the old Georgian method in gvevrs, using the Makashvili gvevr winemaking method. Vaziani Marani winery is located 16 km from the capital Tbilisi, in the village of Vaziani, and owns vineyards in the most important region of Georgia, Kakheti (the main wine-making region, 68% of the total production volume in Georgia). The KAKHET viticulture region covers the entire area of Kakhet, vineyards are located in inner Kakhet, on both sides of the Alazan valley, and in outer Kakheti, in the Iori valley up to 750m above sea level. Wines are made from Rkatsiteli and Kakhuri/Mtsvane grape varieties and also as blends. Vaziani Marani's wine portfolio includes Alazani Valley White and Red, Saperavi, Mukuzani, Tsinandali wines, Kindzmarauli and Khvanchkara premium wines.
