Tierra Alta De 2 Racimos grapes come from low-yielding vines over 70 years old, located at one of the highest points in the Ribera Del Duero region. The soil there gives the wine excellent structure and complexity. Fermentation takes place in 500L French oak barrels. After that, the wine is left to mature in oak barrels of different origins for 48 months. Before going on sale, the wine matures in bottles for another 40 months. The wine has a beautiful garnet red color. The aroma has hints of smoked meat, figs, toffee and leather. The taste is intense, with lively tannins, with an intense and persistent aftertaste. The wine is produced only in the best years and the number of bottles never exceeds 10,000.
