The grapes for Shotfire wine were picked when the berries had reached the ideal ripeness. Fermentation took place at 22-25 degrees to get maximum fruitiness from the grapes. Later, the wine matured in American oak barrels for 14 months, 40% of the barrels were new. The wine has a deep red color and a purple hue. The aroma is rich and concentrated, with notes of dark berries, ash oak and mocha. Intense plum and mulberry on the palate with dark chocolate and oaky tannins. The wine is intense, well balanced and with a long aftertaste.
