The Nice region is the best terroir for the Barbera grape variety. Nice is characterized by sandy and clay soil, which brings out the authentic aromas and freshness of the grape variety. The grapes are cleaned from the stems and gently crushed. Soaking with shells lasts 6 days, during which the temperature does not exceed 28°C. Both alcoholic and malolactic fermentation are completed before the onset of winter. The wine is then aged for 12 months in barriques using second and third fill oak before bottling. Bansella is ruby red with a slight purple tint. The aroma is rich and varied, notes of field berries, cherries and strawberries emerge, which merge with red berry jams and spicy aromas. There are hints of cinnamon, vanilla and green pepper. The palate is juicy and enjoyable, with excellent balance and structure. The finish is long and harmonious. Contains sulfites.
