The Pfaffenheim winery was founded in 1957 and the first wine was produced in 1959. The winery is located in France, in the Alsace region, 15 km southwest of the city of Colmar. The winery produces Alsace AOC, Alsace Cremant AOC and Grand Cru AOC wines. 4 noble grape varieties are allowed to be used to make Grand Cru wines (with some exceptions): Riesling, Muscat, Pinot Gris, Gewurztraminer.
