Mauro Godello 2024 is an elegant white wine from the Bierzo region of Spain, with grapes sourced from the poor sand and slate soils of Villafranca del Bierzo and Valtuille de Arriba at 650 meters above sea level. The year 2024 was rainy and with moderate temperatures, which allowed the grapes to ripen evenly. The harvest took place on August 28 after careful control of yield and quality. The wine was fermented and aged in 500 liter French oak barrels and aged for 10 months on fine lees, which adds structure and depth. The aroma shows white flowers and stone fruits, the taste of the wine is fresh, clear and with a long aftertaste. Production is limited: 15,343 bottles and 250 magnums.
