Marqués de Riscal Gran Reserva is the top classic of Rioja, made from grapes from vines over 80 years old, from the winery's own plantations and from long-term partner growers. After careful selection, the wine suitable for Gran Reserva is selected and aged for 24 months in French oak barrels (2.5-3 years in total), followed by at least another 3 years in bottle. The color of the wine is intense black cherry red with a violet glow. The aroma reveals complex balsamic and fruity tones, harmoniously intertwined with delicate toasted oak. On the palate, the wine is full and silky, with concentrated tannins, round and with a long, elegant aftertaste.
