Maison Louis Latour family bought in 1811. Corton Grancey Wine Estate and still makes wonderful Pinot Noir wine there today. The wine is made from grapes from five Domaine Latour Corton Grand Cru vineyards: Bressandes, Perrières, Grèves, Clos du Roi and Chaumes. The average age of the vines is over 40 years. Corton Grancey wine is produced only in the best vintages and is the representative wine of the Louis Latour family. The Louis Latour winery was established in 1787. In Burgundy, in Alox-Corton, and it is a family business. Domaine Louis Latour owns 48ha of land in Burgundy, including 27ha of Granc Cru Chablis gardens (Louis Latour is the largest owner of Grand Cru Chablis gardens). Corton-Charlemagne and Château Corton Grancey wines are the representative wines of the winery. Louis Latour is also known in the world as a producer of wine barrels, they prepare the view for both his own and other wine cellars; they also have their own printing house where all Louis Latour wine labels are produced.
