Deep garnet red of medium intensity. The aroma is medium intensity and berry aromatic. Feel overripe red wild berries, dark cherries and plums with a light note of incense smoke. The taste is dry, lighter, moderately intense and berry. Feel ripe red wild berries, pohl, cranberries and ripe cherries. The aftertaste is medium length and berry with restrained berry tannins. The grapes are harvested from various growing areas in Australia, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and does not develop in an oak barrel. The history of Jacob's Creek begins in 1847, when Bavarian Johann Gramp plants vines on the banks of Jacob's Creek and establishes a winery called Gramp & Sons. Later, the name Orlando Wines was introduced, after the plantation of the same name founded by Johann Gramp on the slope of Jacob's Creek, and the first vintage was bottled in 1850. The Gramp family's German origins gave impetus to Australia's first Riesling in 1953, and in 1956 the first Australian sparkling wine 'Barossa Pearl' was introduced. The first Jacob's Creek wine was launched in 1976, and today the Jacob's Creek brand has grown into one of the most well-known Australian wine brands in the world.
