The historic wine cooperative in the town of Krems, whose roots go back to the 13th century, unites 1,400 grape growers and manages approx. 900ha of vineyards in Lower Austria. The color is bright yellow with a greenish undertone. The aroma is fruity and minerally citrusy. Feel peaches, nectarines, fresh herbs, citrus, white pepper, fresh asparagus and milk nettles. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and fruity. Feel green apple, fresh citrus and ripe yellow stone fruit with fresh herbs. The aftertaste is long and vividly citrusy, with a thin mineral undertone and fruity balance. The grapes come from the alluvial soils of the south-facing terraces of the Goldberg Winery. The berries are hand-picked and the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels. The wine is not aged in an oak barrel.
