The Graves region wine estate owned by the Duran family was founded by Albert Duran in 1850. Today, the 37ha estate is managed by the seventh generation of the Duras family. From 2024, the manor has an organic farming certificate. The Bordeaux family also owns Château d'Armajan des Ormes in the Sauternes region and Domaine de Cabirol in the Entre-Deux-Mers growing area. Medium-intensity ruby red in color The aroma is berry lively with medium intensity. Ripe dark stone fruits can be felt, along with black forest berries, blueberries and wild berries, plus some baker's spices. The taste is medium-bodied and berry, reflecting the aroma of the wine. Ripe black forest berries, black currants and dark stone fruits are present, with moderate wood tannins and light baker's spices. The aftertaste is medium length and slightly berry lively. The grapes are picked from vines that are about 25 years old. The wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels and 20% of the wine is aged for 12 months in used French oak barrels.
