Xarel-lo comes from plot number 3 of the La Romana vineyard on the Can Bas estate. The grapes are picked by hand, sorted twice - first in the vineyard and then on the sorting table. The pods are removed to prevent excessive herbiness and bitter notes. The grapes are then cooled for 24 hours at a temperature of 10ºC. This is followed by a two-hour maceration and gentle pressing. Fermentation and aging lasts 6 months in different containers: a small amount in an oak barrel and another small amount in a ceramic amphora or vessels. The rest in steel tanks. The color of the wine is pale golden and bright. The powerful aroma bouquet consists of fresh white fruits (apple and pear), flowers and Mediterranean herbs, crowned by a nuance of vanilla. The taste is delicate and light, with well-integrated acidity. The aftertaste is persistent and refreshing. Contains sulfites.
