The aroma of Baroncini, Appassimento is dominated by ripe berries and subtle chocolate notes. The taste is full, silky soft, slightly intense, spicy and with a long aftertaste. The wine is made using the “Apassimento” method, during which the grapes are dried and they lose about a third of their natural water content. As a result, the sugar level increases and we get a concentrated, intense and complex fruity wine.
