This wonderful, richly sherried single malt whiskey has been aged for at least 12 years in the best Spanish Perdo Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks. Color - red gold. Aroma - sweet, creamy vanilla with hints of ginger, spicy mulled wine and pear. Taste - rich, creamy, silky smooth. Warm and rich oak mixed with sherry sweetness. Glendronach Distillery is delightfully old-fashioned, where time seems to have stood still - there is a timeless satisfaction in the air and production. Old buildings from the beginning of the 19th century are surrounded by a cobbled courtyard with resident crows. According to legend, the company is doing well as long as there are crows outside - in earlier times, the birds warned the whiskey makers when tax officials approached the factory.
