Anna de Codorníu is Spain's best-selling cava. Codorníu cava is made using the traditional method and is dedicated to the memory of Anna Codorníu, the beloved woman whom Manual Raventós married in 1659, uniting two families with long winemaking traditions. To this day, the winery is owned by the family. Sparkling wine has a rich, fruity and slightly creamy taste with a perfect balance between acidity and residual sugar. The rich and elegant aroma features white flowers, tropical fruits and citrus. Advanced notes, toastiness and brioche emerge in the background. Grape varieties used in production: Chardonnay, Parellada, Macabeo/Xarel·lo.

The color is more intense than average, salmon pink, with a fine dense bubble stream. The aroma is straight berry, you can feel cranberries, fresh raspberries and pohli and rowan with rose hips. The end of the aroma adds a pungent minerality with red apple peel and slightly bitter red berry skins. The palate is dry, medium-bodied and berry-like, with hints of fresh cherries, cranberries and raspberries, rose hips and blood grapefruit and red oranges. The aftertaste is uniform and berry velvety. The organically grown grapes come from the Ubac vineyard in the village of Sant Joan de Mediona, 500m above sea level.
