The aroma of the ruby red wine is strongly manifested by dark berries and fruits. In addition to wild berries, there are nuances of oak, thistle and oak. A wine with a full flavor and special character offers strong tannins, good acidity and spiciness. The wine from the Kakheti microzone - Kisiskhevi is produced using the original Georgian winemaking method in a large clay amphora-like vessel located underground. The crushed grapes are poured with the skins into a kvevri for up to 40 days, where they are stirred every 2 hours. After removing the skins, the resulting liquid is kept in a closed kvevre for 2 years, when fermentation stops and the wine matures. The result is a unique, aromatic, intense and tannic wine. Since 2013, the traditional Georgian winemaking method of Kvevri has been included in the Unesco cultural heritage list. Contains sulfites.
