Staritsky Levitsky vodka is produced at a distillery in Lviv, Ukraine near the Polish border. High-quality Ukrainian wheat is used, grown on local fertile black soil and mineral-rich water from the Carpathians. After being distilled in traditional copper stills, it is filtered twice through charcoal and then twice through coal. The aroma of the vodka is pleasantly balanced, of medium intensity, the taste has a slightly sweet and mild undertone and a very long aftertaste. The Staritsky & Levitsky Vodka brand name refers to two very different personalities of the Ukrainian Golden Renaissance of the 1900s: Staritsky, the cultural leader, and Levitsky, the entrepreneur. Their names not only refer to the vodka's specific historical roots, but also celebrate the fact that "history is made when personalities meet." When Staritsky met Levitsky, authentic vodka was always at hand. In today's world, when bright minds get together and share a pint of Staritsky & Levitsky Vodka, they make history themselves. Staritsky & Levitsky vodka is produced in a small distillery in the city of Lviv, on the Polish border. At the production plant, the company has its own bottling cellar, which is exclusively for the production of Staritsky & Levitsky vodka. The ingredients of Staritsky & Levitsky vodkas are located in close proximity to the factory, which facilitates transportation and allows for local raw material sourcing and authenticity.
