Santa Margherita grows Glera grapes in the Conegliano-Valdobbiadene region north of Venice. The best proseccos that have been awarded DOCG status come from that region. In 1952, Gaetano Marzotto started growing Glera grapes in the area, seeing great potential in it. Thanks to Gaetano's efforts, today Santa Margherita prosecco is highly valued for its excellent taste. Sparkling wine has fine and lively bubbles. A straw-yellow prosecco with a greenish sheen. Ripe pineapple, peaches and apples set the tone in the aroma. Prosecco is fresh, elegant and refined.
