Castello Banfi winery was established in 1978. Italy, Tuscany, Montalcino by John and Harry Mariani. The brothers bought a historic wine estate in Bruzzone, Piedmont, where Banfi's excellent ALTA LANGA sparkling wines are made, and the name of the wine estate is Banfi Piedmont. Alta Langa's Blanc de Noirs grapes (Pinot Noir) are picked from 250m high mountain slopes and the first vintage of Blanc de Noir Pas Dosage was completed in 2016.
