The Ron Abuelo “Finish Collection” is a unique series of 15-year-old rums that are finished in different carefully selected casks: Oloroso Sherry Cask, Napoleon Cognac Cask and Tawny Port Cask. The final finishing of this rum was done with port wine which gave the rum a great balance between sweetness and dry fruity notes. The rum has a deep reddish amber color and aromas of red berries, intense woody notes and dried fruits. The taste is soft and silky, with hints of spices, dark chocolate, dried fruits, vanilla and port wine. The rum has a very long aftertaste, in which woody notes and ripe figs set the tone.
