The Ron Abuelo “Finish Collection” is a unique series of 15-year-old rums that are finished in various carefully selected casks: Oloroso Sherry Cask, Napoleon Cognac Cask and Tawny Port Cask. For the final finishing of this rum, an oak cask from France, previously used in the production of Napoleon cognac, was used. The rum has a deep reddish amber color and the aroma is dominated by raisins, plums, toasted wood and cocoa. The taste is well balanced, followed by a long, deep and elegant aftertaste.
