Using 100% sugarcane molasses from Negros island, Don Papa Gayuma is distilled in the unique volcanic climate surrounding the foothills of Mt. Kanlaon, and finished in Islay whiskey barrels for a distinctive smoky aroma. The rum is dark amber in color with a distinct peaty nose, a soft and delicate vanilla, light orange peel notes, deep cacao, with hints of cloves and mint. It's intense smokey tinge and spicy finish create a well balanced yet complex liquid.
