Cognac is mainly made from the Ugni-blanc grape. After the wine is matured, it is distilled very slowly, which gives the cognac a softness and floral character. Cognac is aged for a minimum of 4 years in French oak barrels. The aroma is delicate, with a hint of dried fruit and orange. The taste of cognac is full, round and creamy. Goes well with fish, oysters or blue cheese. Also suitable for independent enjoyment.
