Millesime 2002 is distilled by Laurent Vallet, who tasted all the 2002 eaux-de-vies to determine their profile and maturation potential. After the tasting, he selected 4 "roux" casks, which would be suitable to enhance the special cognac. The wood for the barrels came from the best oaks in the Limousin region. Later, the cognac matured in old oak barrels. The view was kept for 20 years in the Vallet family's "Millesime" cellar. This cellar is characterized by high humidity and stable temperature even during summer heat waves. Cognac has a golden yellow color. The aroma is leather, clove and hints of licorice. The taste is well balanced, with excellent structure and a long aftertaste. Only 480 bottles were produced.
