Located in the village of Les Riceys, in the Côte des Bar region, Alexandre Bonnet is located in the south of Champagne, close to the border with Burgundy. It is one of the most special terroirs in all of Champagne, dominated by Kimmeridgian limestone, the same geological soil found in the Chablis region. This region is known primarily for Pinot Noir and is one of the few places in Champagne that produces two rare AOC wines in addition to Champagne: Coteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys.
