The age of Metaxa is read by asterisks, the exception being only the most respectable luxury products, for which a verbal description is used. Metaxa 5* has matured for 5 years. The aroma is floral, with hints of raisins and dried fruits. The taste is mild, fruity, with light oak notes. Serve in a cocktail with ginger ale and fresh cucumber or apple juice and orange.
