The age of Metaxa is read by asterisks, the exception being only the most respectable luxury products, for which a verbal description is used. Metaxa 12* is matured for 12 years. Dry fruits and herbs are strongly felt in the aroma. The taste is chocolate, toffee and orange peel. The taste is mild and rich.
