Our iconic Barolo Chinato still follows the original recipe created by Giulio Cocchi, where the Barolo DOCG wine is infused with Cinchona Calisaya bark, rhubarb and yarrow root and precious cardamom seeds. The active ingredients of the herbs and plants are extracted by slow steeping at room temperature, followed by a refining period - almost a year in a barrel. Characterized by balance and harmony in the aroma, with an immediate pleasant taste and pleasant aromatic persistence.
