The appearance is a dense and fast bubble stream, pale yellow in color The aroma is more intense than average, lushly fruity and slightly floral, with notes of ripe tropical fruits, overripe white currants and ripe citrus fruits. The palate is light, semi-sweet and fruity, with notes of ripe white currants, light stone fruits, apricots and peaches with a refreshing citrus note. The grapes are harvested from different growing areas of Spain, the wine is fermented in stainless steel barrels, the alcohol is removed from the wine using the reverse osmosis method, and later the wine is carbonated. Bodegas Campo Viejo is one of the best-known wineries in the Rioja region today, founded in 1959 on the initiative of two Rioja winemakers, and its name refers to the old field: "campo viejo" - "old field". In 2001, the wine cellar was renovated and modern winemaking technologies were introduced. Bodegas Campo Viejo owns 54ha of berry plantations from the Rioja region and cooperates with many farmers and berry growers from the Rioja region.
